Appearance:     Granular, black powder.

Pure C₇₈ is chromatographically separated using preparative HPLC. The three isomers above have been reported with varying ratios, usually 2:1:0.1 as shown. These structural isomers are resolvable. HPLC analysis is included with sample and indicates the presence of all fullerenes including parent oxides. As well, mass spectral characterization can be provided.

The main fullerene impurity is C_76.

Samples are vacuum-dried to remove residual solvent.
